Preference Programs
We regularly counsel clients with virtually
every duty savings program available in the United States and
work closely with our clients’ sourcing personnel to ensure
that sourcing decisions maximize duty and cost savings available
through duty preference programs. We also offer services that
allow our clients to outsource the duty preference program analysis
to us.
We have significant experience representing clients in preference
program audits by U.S. and foreign customs authorities, ranging
from the relatively simple written audit to the more extensive
and instrusive on-site audit.
Finally, we offer both web-based and “in person”
preference program education courses that are designed to help
our clients and their suppliers obtain accurate and timely information
regarding the origin of our clients’ products and raw
materials.
